CHARGES PER HOME VISITS

General Information

"Base" refers to the physical geographical location of the headquarters declared by the provider of each service (nurse, doctor, pharmacist, psychologist, nutritionist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, cook, taxi driver, etc.), whether as an individual or a company. The mileage distance that the service provider must cover to reach the recipient's home or predetermined service location falls into three (3) distinct service billing zones.

Each service provider has defined their geographical coverage limits. PCC HELLAS has compiled the coverage areas of all providers and, based on the demand for the respective services, has established the following pricing categories. These may be modified over time depending on the supply and demand of services in the individual geographical areas.

Mainland Areas

Service Category Δ (Within Base Area)

This billing category includes prefectural capitals that belong to the same Category Δ.

The charge for home visits made in these prefectural capitals is the basic charge listed on pelos.gr.

Service Category K (Outside Headquarters Area)

This billing category includes areas located outside the administrative boundaries of the prefectural capital's municipality, which is in Category Δ (for better understanding of the boundary, it corresponds exactly to the limits where taxi drivers apply the "double fare"). Also, prefectural capitals belonging to the same Category K are included in this category.

The charge for home visits made in these areas is the basic charge listed on pelos.gr, increased by €19.22 (nineteen euros and twenty-two cents).

Service Category Y (Intercity)

This billing category includes areas located outside the prefecture of the service provider's Base. Also, prefectural capitals and Category K areas of prefectures belonging to the same Category Y are included in this category.

The charge for home visits made in these areas is the basic charge listed on pelos.gr, increased by €49.60 (forty-nine euros and sixty cents).

Island Areas

This billing category includes all islands of Greece, except Crete and Evia.

The charge for home visits made in these areas is corresponding to the categories of Mainland areas, with the clarification that for Category K and Y visits, the price is increased by the cost of travel fares and may potentially be subject to a daily allowance for the provider and overnight expenses.
